Trip Highlights

  • Ride the best climbs in the world including Alpe d’Huez, Col du Galibier, Col du T√©l√©graphe, and Col du Glandon (And some you don’t know yet!).
  • Fuel your day with traditional Alpine favorites: ¬†Tartiflette, raclette and fondue
  • Your imagination will run wild as you ride on roads covered with your favorite riders.
  • Daily transfers all dialed in: Breakfast –> Ride All Day –> Dinner.

This camp will challenge you physically and mentally.

As you can see from the video sample above, you will experience the next level of cycling on this camp. Due to logistics, there is only room for 11 cyclists on this tour, and it is by invitation only.

This is the Ultimate Cycling Camp!

The goal of this camp is to make you a better cyclist, period. The daily diet of long steady climbs is designed to give you the fitness and cycling skills to be at your best all season long.

What’s Not Included

  • Anti-Gravity Cycling Shoes. You’ll have to work!
  • Airfare to/from the camp. Closest airport is Geneva, Switzerland.
  • Your wine allowance…drink conservatively!
  • Bike rentals…ideally you bring your own rig to camp, if you need to rent one we need to know early!

Camp Details

Saturday June 19
Arrive Geneva between 1pm and 4pm local time. Group up and travel by minibus to our camp base in Tarentaise base (approx transfer time 2 hours). Plenty of time to get bikes made up and organized followed by a hearty dinner. After dinner there will be an informal meeting to discuss the plans for the following days.

Sunday June 20
After breakfast we will ride locally to find our legs for the week. The Col du Petit St Bernard is the likely goal, with both sides of it to conquer. Not too steep and hey, lunch in Italy!

Monday June 21
The Col de l’Iseran is the main target for the day, a 50km climb! Then, over the top into the beautiful Bonneville valley. We’ll continue on through the remote upper parts of the Maurienne Valley before climbing 8km to our hotel for the night in the pretty village of Aussois.

Tuesday June 22

An epic day with the Col du T√©l√©graph leading into the Col du Galibier, as if that wasn’t enough we’ll finish the day with the ascent of the legendary Alpe d’Huez

Wednesday June 23

Mystery Ride Day #1…expect climbing, vistas and memories for a lifetime!

Thursday June 24
A beautiful ‘balcony’ road start to the day as we make our way around to the climb of the Col du Glandon. This will be followed by the stunning Lacets de Montverniers made famous in the 2015 Tour de France. The Col du Chaussy will then finish our day off in style.

Details: 110km with 2700m of climbing

Friday June 25
Today we’ll climb the mighty Col de la Madeleine, again the site of much Tour history. A beautiful descent is the reward into the Tarentaise. The afternoon will see us scale the tough but lesser known Col du Tra.

Saturday June 26

Mystery Ride Day #2…expect climbing, vistas and memories for a lifetime!

Sunday June 27
Our final day sees us scale the Cormet de Roselend from both sides with the option of the Col du Pré as an add on to what will be a spectacular way to finish off the week.

Details: 95 km with 2800m of climbing

Monday June 28
We’ll get you back to Geneva Airport after assisting you with packing bikes. We’ll head to Geneva airport at around 10am to catch flights departing from 2pm and later.
